My 5-month exchange life in Australia was definitely one of the best times of my life. There were so many good memories – the travel, the concerts, the campus, the people, and the friends made there... Thanks to the Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Student Exchange Programme, I had a good chance to explore the wonderful country and meet people from around the world.

I arrived at Sydney airport on a hot summer day, with a temperature of over 36oc. My journey started with a nice Aussie guy offering me his coins to make a phone call, and a friendly hostel staff drawing a big map to help me get to downtown. During my 5 months stay in Australia, I received a lot of help from the local people and met many friendly people. I learned to say “ Hi” and “ Thank you” to the bus driver when getting on and off the bus everyday, and I learned to smile at people on the street, even though we didn’t know each other. I travelled to many cities in Australia during the exchange. I attended one of my favourite classes in my life at the University of Sydney and I made friends there as well. However, the most important thing that I took from this country should be the attitude towards life – smile to people and smile to life.
