The great exchange experience in Australia will definitely be among the most unforgettable and precious memories in my life. Not only I had the chance to feel the distinct academic environment, it also offered me the chance to explore the diverse and amazing Australian landscapes. Studying and living alone in a completely new and strange country seemed to be a little demanding to me in the beginning, but gradually I fell in love with this place and the people here. I also managed to have time to reflect on myself and hence, know myself better.

Accounting is my major subject in Peking University. In The University of Queensland ("UQ"), I chose a software engineering course and a language course besides the accounting classes. The software engineering course teaches Python, a programming language which is relatively easy to master. It allowed me to explore the programming field and enabled me to taste the anxiety about the code testing failure and the happiness arising from the successful coding. On top of that, I enjoyed the Spanish lesson here, but it is a pity that I would not be able to take it in my home university due to the course conflict. Most importantly, the advanced management accounting course I took is really enlightening: it enabled me to look and think profoundly about the management control systems. UQ's learning facilities are really good and can facilitate students in acquiring the skills and knowledge. Teachers, tutors and classmates here are all very friendly and nice. This is absolutely a perfect place for learning and self-improvement.

Apart from studying, I also travelled to a few tourist attractions in Australia, and took pictures with a cute koala in my arms, fed the kangaroos as well as swam in the sea waves. These memories are so unique and vivid and I will always cherish it in my heart. I am so lucky to take part in the Endeavour Scholarship Programme and be given the Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Awards! I cannot tell how appreciative I am. I will keep making the best of my time here and pass on the favor and love to someone who needs it as well!
