Study exchange is like a leaf hanging from a branch, a spark dancing in the light bulb, or a cloud reflecting in the water. I, myself, have found a way into an unexpected journey with a variety of unknowns. Exchange is all about searching for the meaning of life through interaction with different people and different lifestyles.

Experience is not only a catalyst of a chemical reaction, but also a reflection in a mirror. While on exchange, I tried skydiving, snorkelling, kart racing, and trial instructional flight, all of which improved my level of confidence and courage; while having to communicate in a foreign language, to be independent and the culture shock have fostered my growth and adversity quotient. Experience is something you cannot find in a book, but can only be found when you get out of your comfort zone.

Responsibility is one of the most long-lasting virtues over time and space. Speaking as a student from City University of Hong Kong, passing the flame of the exchange opportunities between Hong Kong and Australia should be maintained and promoted. With the background of bilingual education, the exchange of both language and cultural experiences should be the main duty of an exchange student from Hong Kong. Being a human being, the environmental protection and the conservation of biodiversity deserve much of our attention.

Exploration is like an adventure full of excitement. The Great Ocean Road in Melbourne, the Sydney Opera House, Barossa Valley in Adelaide, the Cradle Mountains in Tasmania, Paronella Park in Queensland, Wave Rock in Perth, and Ayers Rock in Uluru - they are all manifestations of the wonders of nature which inspire and capture the imaginations of millions of people. Exploration is the link between knowledge and nature, and an encouragement of a dream come true.

"You only live once." This sentence does not mean you should spare no efforts in doing everything, it means you should act without regrets based on your ability and try to face your strengths and weaknesses. Instead of only maximising pleasure, meaning orientation should also be taken into consideration in a good life. Life is all about being itself, being yourself, and being myself.
