My exchange experience was very interesting and life changing. I met the most beautiful friends and studied great subjects. The people I met are lifelong friends and Hong Kong is an amazing place to explore.

There were challenging times too, when I felt overwhelmed by the hugeness of Hong Kong but overall when I look back, I remember all the amazing experiences and great times.

Living in the dorm was also challenging as I had already lived out of home for quite a few years and did not like having restrictions put on my freedom such as guest visiting time and sharing a room with a stranger, although we soon became friends.

The language barrier could be challenging but working through it was always fun.

Hong Kong was an amazing city to go on exchange because it is so international. Meeting people from all over the world was one of the best things that happened to me and the connections made are priceless.

I was lucky enough to study photography, print making, dream interpretation for personal growth and small metal jewellery design. Metal jewellery design was my favourite as I felt as though I had found my life calling as I worked away in the studio. The teachers for all my classes were incredibly interesting and inspiring and I learnt so much. Overall I had the best time!
