Hi, I am Jack and I am an exchange student from HKU to the University of New England, Australia. This exchange program has been magnificent to me especially with the scholarship from the Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Awards, which
help relieve my heavy financial burden to a great extent.

Exchange programs enable us to understand ourselves better by encountering lots of challenges like interpersonal problems and the way you deal with difficulties. Apart from enhancing selfunderstanding, it also provides opportunities for us to experience the customs and personalities of foreigners by hanging around with them. If I were not granted with the generous scholarship, I may have to work part time in order to earn money for the expensive accommodation fee in Australia which may reduce the time I spend with my friends here.

During my time in Australia, we have been to lots of places, mostly beaches and country parks. Sceneries here are fabulous, bright sky and large beaches with smooth sand. Life here is much more than enjoyable. Within our campus, there is a preservation zone where the kangaroos and koala bears live. I can usually see them running around and hanging on trees and I believe this is quite unique to universities around the world.

Once again, I would like to thank the founder of this scholarship and I am honored that I am one of the awardees. Without this kind scholarship, I would still be struggling with my expenses now.
