The first and the most important thing is to express my thanks to the Cheung Kong Group and the Australian Government for awarding me the Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Award. I was very surprised when I was told that I was one of the recipients of this scholarship.

It is a rare opportunity to be an exchange student, and this will probably be the only such chance I get in my lifetime. Being an exchange student in a foreign country is amazing and challenging. Everything is new to me. I feel excited every time I visit a new place and just can’t stop myself from taking many photos. These photos will record my wonderful time in Australia, and will also become a part of my precious memories.

Nothing is better than learning a foreign culture and language by living in a different country. It is a great chance for me to learn and sharpen my language skills. These are the things I hope to do most during my exchange period.

Due to my financial status, I was hesitant and had lots of concerns before I applied for the exchange program. However, with the help of the scholarship funding, I was able to accept the exchange offer. The additional funding gave me the opportunity to join more activities at The University of Adelaide and also to buy the text books I needed to facilitate my learning. After my short and wonderful semester in Adelaide, I plan to visit other fantastic places in other states to find out more fascinating things about Australia. I hope I can every moment here!

Last but not least, let me take this opportunity to thank the Cheung Kong Group and the Australia Government once again. Without their help, my exchange program would not be so fruitful.
