Ada Wong Hong Kong Institute of Education, Hong Kong The cultural difference between Australia and Hong Kong has broadened my horizons. I made friends from different countries through joining programmes organized by the International Student Service Union (ISSU) of Flinders University. Through interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds, I know more about their culture, as well as my own culture and identity. Australia is a wonderful place for traveling and exploring. I will never forget the wonderment when I saw the undersea world of the Great Barrier Reef. The colourful coral, clusters of fishes and huge clams made the finest pictures of nature that I have ever seen. The natural scenery of the rainforests, waterfalls, coastal landforms and sand dunes also amazed me. From the tour guides and locals, I learnt more deeply about the rarity of natural capital. I now realize the importance and emergency of conserving the natural environment of the earth after visiting those places. The memory of this exchange period will last for a lifetime. I thank the Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Scholarship Programme for giving me this extraordinary experience during my university life.
