Before I tell you my story, I would like to thank the Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Scholarship Programme, the University of Sunshine Coast and my home institution: Concord University College of Fujian Normal University for giving me this opportunity to study abroad with a scholarship.

Although I have just been here for 6 weeks, I do enjoy my life and have a deep impression of the University of Sunshine Coast. First, I want to mention International Relations Session. It has provided me with a lot of information about settling in, and this campus, as I missed the orientation due to my delayed student visa. The staff are friendly and helpful so that I could adjust myself to the new environment soon. Oh, don’t miss the free morning tea and some trips organised by International Relations.

Second, I do appreciate Student Service’s help. As a non-English speaking background student, study might be a big problem for me here. Fortunately, I have benefited a lot from Student Service. Whenever I feel depressed or have difficulty in assignments or language skills, I will ask Student Service for help. The staff are patient and give me some helpful suggestions.

In addition, it is also exciting to meet some kangaroos on campus. They are not as huge as I thought but still lovely.

There is still too much for me to explore in the following days but I believe I will have a good time here.
